Biography
Birth
- According to her gravestone, Caroline Amanda Burroughs was born on 6 Mar 1838,[1] She was the daughter of Samuel Burroughs and Susan J. (Holt) Burroughs. In 1850, she was living with her father and stepmother at Alstead, New Hampshire, at the age of 12.[2] She was named as Caroline A. Mack in the will of her father, made in March 1862.[3]
Marriage
- Caroline A. Burroughs of Alstead, New Hampshire, married Frederick Mack of Windham, Vermont, at Rockingham, Vermont, on 3 Oct 1855.[4]
Death
- The gravestone of Caroline Mack at the Windham Center Cemetery in Windham, Vermont, is inscribed with the dates 6 Mar 1838 and 23 Jun 1916.[1]
