Biography

Phillip served in the RAAF in World War II. He was a Flight Sergeant No. 412383 with the 232 Squadron. He was a spitfire pilot and was killed during air operations at Nedjez-el-Bab, Tunisia. He is buried in the British War Cemetery there in Grave 3B 17.

His name is on the War Memorial, Canberra and a memorial on his parent's grave at Waverley Cemetery.
