William was born in 1902. [1] He was the son of Andrew Burt and Edith Birrell.

BURT.— On December 7. at Williamstown Hospital, William James (Weenie), dearly beloved son of Andy and Edith, of Upton Street. Altona; loving brother of May, Andy, Percy, Alex and Dulcie; aged 43. Rest in peace.[6]
