Charles was born at Keswick, York County about 1791. He is probably a brother of Benjamin Burtt. Both gentlemen received Land Grants in Wakefield in 1815.
d. Hartland (Carleton Co.) 20th April, Charles C. BURTT, age 93 years 3 mos. The deceased was a native of Keswick (York Co.), had resided in Carleton Co. over 70 years and was one of the oldest citizens of the County. Carleton Sentinel, May 12, 1883.[1]
