Biography

Jeaffrye, son of Edmond Burrell & Marye, was baptised on 15 July 1606 in Saint Mary, Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.^[1]

In 1627 he was named in the will of his maternal grandfather Jeffrey Pitman.^[2]

Jeffrey was called to the Bar on 27 May 1636 and became a Bencher in 1648. He was knighted on 16 March 1662-3. ^[3]

Jeffery died in 1684 and was buried on 10 July 1684 in Rougham, Suffolk, England.^[4]
