Biography
A notable actor with a decidedly non-leading-man look, Steve Buscemi is known for such varied works as Mr. Pink in the criminally indie classic Tarantino film Resevoir Dogs, the Oscar-winning Fargo and Randall Bloggs in the Disney staple, Monsters, Inc.. He is also well-known for his work with the Cohen brothers.[1] His turn in television roles such as Nucky Thompson in Boardwalk Empire and a myriad of guest appearances and recurring characters in other notable series, have also not gone unnoticed or unappreciated.
Buscemi is a native New Yorker and is the son of Dorothy, nee Wilson, Buscemi and John Buscemi. He studied acting with John Strasberg.[2][3] He is married to performance artist / dancer Jo Andres and has one son, Lucien.[1]
