A Jonathan (Sergeant) and Moses Bush (Private) from Enfield answered the Lexington Alarm (6 days in service) in 1775.
Find a Grave lists Jonathan's birth date as June 17 1745 in Chatham, CT. His tombstone at Collinsville Cemetery lists his death date as July 3 1825. His birth and death dates have been changed to coincide with Find a Grave.
According to the Lowville Journal and Republican, a Revolutionary War marker was placed on Jonathan Bush's grave on Monday May 17, 1915. A short ceremony followed, including a "most interesting sketch of the life of Jonathan Bush" being read.
