Deeds

Deed of Release 3 Aug 1748. From William Butcher yeoman of Sussex County Delaware, Benjamin Salmon and Agnes, his wife, and Rachel Butcher to Nicholas Williams yeoman of the same place. For 30 pounds 150 acres of land. Land formerly belonged to Robert Butcher dec'd late of Sussex County and father of William Butcher, Agnes Sallmon and Rachel Butcher, and is part of a greater tract of land known as Watson's Choice and is situated on the south side of Long Branch proceeding out of Rehoboah Bay containing 150 acres and is the same land that Robert Butcher dec'd bought of William Pettyjohn by deed dated 9 November 1721 ans which land is now in possession of Nicholas Williams.

Notes

In his will, Benjamin Salmon mentions sons Robert and Josiah though they are not mentioned in Agnes' will. Could these be the sons-in-law? Patience was married to Robert Holmes.
