I question if Jacob is actually the son of Sarah Slavens who was born in 1807 in Virginia. She would have only been 13 years old at the time of Jacob’s birth. Also she married her husband William Butcher, also from Virginia, in 1825 in Ohio and the next eldest child was Adam Butcher born 1826 in Ohio.
Jacob Butcher was born in 1820 in Pennsylvania. I think he should be removed as a child of William and Sarah. - M. Parrill April 28, 2021
