Land Records Middleton Springs, Rutland Vermont-GSLDS Film #28542 pg 35-Submitter to IGI has all children born Middleton, but Benjamin ,Nathaniel were still in Cumberland until 1785 and purchase of land in Middleton wasn't until 1785 which states they are from Cumberland so children 1-5 have to be born in Cumberland.

MARRIAGE-Marriages of Rutland, Vermont GSLDS Film #27497; !Middleton town records give children 1-5 as having been born to Benjamin but after the Revolutionary War all children had to be registered in the town the father lived in even though they were born elsewhere;
