Biography

Robert Cyril Butler was born in August 1897 in New York City, New York to John Webb Butler and Olga Kohler Butler.

He married Mabel Shippy, daughter of Garrett and Ethel Rowley Shippy, in Webster Groves, Missouri 20 February 1926. They had a daughter they called Kathleen.

Mr. Butler left New York by 1918 and worked in construction in Yankton, South Dakota before moving to Missouri. The Butlers remained there for the rest of their lives.

Robert Cyril Butler died 6 July 1991 in St Louis at 93 years of age.
