According to Anderson, her last name at birth was unknown, and Butler was the last name of her first spouse (whose first name was not known).

Unless there are other reliable sources showing her last name at birth was Butler, it should be changed to Unknown.

Any objections?

It looks like the original profile was built this way (in 2014), and probably in error. The source cited on the original was Anderson, so I'd assume a typographical error.

The Wikitree Stephen Butler profile appears to be this one: Stephen Butler (aft.1642-aft.1687). Can Stephen be added among Mary's other children? Apparent that est. year of birth needs to be changed. Thank you.

As you mentioned, it appears that some work is required to Stephen's profile to show that he is the son of Mary. The book referenced on Stephen's profile does not cite sources for its information. The book also differs vis-a-vis Anderson's Great Migration... with respect to Mary's children

Thank you. Puzzling. Regarding Stephen Butler - this profile's source #1, Anderson, on page 225 cites Mary Butler Ward twice. Once when she petitions the General Court, May, 1667 ". . . faithful service of Stephen son to the petitioner by a former husband . . . " Secondly in Mary Butler Ward's 4 July 1667 will ". . . brought up my son Stephen Butler . . ." Is this not sufficient to attach Stephen as a child of Mary? Citations are easily added to Stephen's profile.
