1836: Joel Butler married Sarah Ann Horton on December 15, 1836 in Culpepper, Virginia[1] There is some confusion as to what her maiden name was; as the marriage record has Horton, Family Search has Isabel and the death record for their daughter (Virginia) has Bigby.
