On January 26, 1920, Elizabeth Edith Butler, a school girl 16 years 2 months old b. Birmingham, arrived in New York from Southampton aboard the SS "Mauretania." Her nearest relative in England was her mother, Mrs. E. C. Butler of Stretton Croft, Barut Green. Elizabeth's final destination was E. Northfield, Massachusetts.[2]
The marriage of Henry W. Huggins and Elizabeth E. C. Butler was recorded during the 3rd quarter of 1923 in the St George Hanover Square Registration District, London.[3] Henry and Elizabeth had four sons: John Henry, Michael William, Patrick and Peter Jeremy William.[4]
