After Ellen died at age 35 the Children were "farmed " out to their relatives. The census of 1891 records Charlene staying with her Aunt Margaret Butler Gorman Wife of William Gorman. Margaret Jane Warnock stayed with her Aunt Anne Smith Warnock wife of William Warnock. the tombstone in Portage du Fort states that Ellen was a native of Dublin Ireland The 1901 census shows Ellen (Eleanor) Staying with her bachelor Uncle Charles Butler
