Biography

A William Butler is recorded as an incoming migrant through Brisbane (aged 16 years ) on the "Duke of Norfolk" on the 15th August 1900.
A William Joseph Butler residing at Moonta Mines, South Australia registered a Ford 22.5 (Number Plate 01239) on 1 September 1918. Moonta is a town located on the Yorke Peninsula of South Australia, 165 kilometres north-northwest of the state capital of Adelaide. It is one of the three Copper Triangle towns known as "Little Cornwall" and for their shared copper mining history. Moonta is the port and Kadina is adjacent inland.
