Phebe Butterfield was born on 5 November 1684 in Chelmsford, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Her parents were Samuel and Mary (Ballard) Butterfield.[1][2]
Phebe married John Howe on 13 April 1709, in Plainfield.[3]
They had seven children, all born in Plainfield:[3][4]
Josiah Howe (22 Mar 1710/1-1 Nov 1759), married Patience Day
John (6 Aug 1712-28 Jul 1807), married Mary Wheeler
Louise (08 Mar 1714)
James (07 Oct 1715), married Joanna Spalding
Samuel (24 Jun 1716-08 Nov 1790), married Martha Spaulding, then Mary Turner
Jonathan (03 Apr 1724-13 Apr 1724)
Jonas (13 Jun 1726-09 May 1776), married Sarah Wheeler
John Howe died on 27 August 1727, age 40. Phebe passed away on 3 December 1758, in Plainfield.[3]
