Biography

Robert Byrne aka O'Byrne of Cabinteely, born 1 May 1746, .[1][2] third son of George and Clare (Nugent) Byrne. [3]

Robt married 7 Nov 1790 in St Mary COI, Dublin, to Mary Devereux, daug of Robt Devereux of Carrignenan, [or Carrickmennan] Co Wexford, by special license at General O'Donnel's, Dublin. [4][5]

Robert Byrne Esq of Cabinteely, co Dublin,, groom and Mary Devereux bride, only daughter of Robert Devereux of Carrignaenon, Co Wexford, marriage settlement dated 5 Nov 1790 [6]

Robt died in 1798 and left three daug:[7]

  1. Mary Clare, died unmarried 14 Mar 1810
  2. Clarinda Mary died unmarried 31 Jul 1850
  3. Georgina Mary died unmarried 29 Nov 1864

Robert, who resided abroad, died, in 1799, at Lisbon, leaving a widow and three daughters - amiable and talented ladies, who succeeded to the property. [8]

Robert died 7 Jan 1799. [9]
