Patrick Byrne had a number of children, with a wife Emma, born in St. John's from about 1884.[1]
Patrick Byrne died on 1 September 1909 and was buried in St. John's, Avalon Peninsula Census Division, Newfoundland and Labrador.[2] His will mentions his wife, Emma, and was probated in 1901.[3]

There was a different Patrick Byrne, married to an Annie, in Holyrood.

Last will and Testament of Patrick Byrne of St. John's Laborer deceased
form of a will. Know all men by these presents that I Patrick Byrne of St. John's
Nfld. laborer being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and
testament. 1st I give and bequeath to my wife Emma Byrne my House situated on the south side of St.
John's Nfld. in witness whereof I the said Patrick Byrne set my hand and seal hereunto this 25th day of
