Biography

When Jean Baptiste Cadot Cadotte and his twin sister Marie Marguerite were born on September 8, 1771, in Champlain, Quebec, Canada, their father, Augustin, was 42, and their mother, Marie, was 35. He married Geneviève Thérèse Bourgault dit Lacroix Lacroix on September 19, 1796, in Contrecoeur, Quebec, Canada. They had one child during their marriage. He died on August 1, 1855, in Bagot, Quebec, Canada, having lived a long life of 83 years.
