Biography

William was born about 1695, the son of William Cahoon and Elizabeth Nickerson of Harwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts^[1].

On about 1716, he married Sarah O'Kelley, daughter of David, and their children included:

1. Mercy, or Mary born May 7, 1717, who married Elisha Baker, son of William^[1]
2. Sarah, born March 4, 1719^[2], who married William Long, son of William on February 2, 1737^[1]
3. James, born May 8, 1721^[3], who married Rebecca Eldredge^[1]
4. William, who married Elizabeth Gallop^[1]
5. Nathaniel, who married Thankful Philips, daughter of Micah in 1756^[1]
