Biography

George Lee Cain, son of Cornelius Cain and Elizabeth Newman, was born in Fugit Township, Decatur County, Indiana, United States, 15 Nov 1824. In 1830, he resided with his parents and siblings in Jackson Township, Tippecanoe County, Indiana.^[1] Next door resided the family of his paternal uncle, James Cain.
