William was born about 1830. He passed away about 1861 due to being shot.[1] Believed to be buried in Low Ground Cemetery Putnam county Missouri.
He was the son of James Cain and Ann Ketchin. He lived with his parents in Putnam County, Missouri. [2] He married Martha Jane Whitworth. Their children were:

The family lived in Liberty, Putnam, Missouri. [3]
William passed away about 1869. His last child was born in March 1869. He did not appear with his family on the 1870 census.
