Biography
We know Irwin was married to a Margaret, this is clear from the christening record of their son George in Kiltoghert Church of Ireland on 6th February 1814 and the death record of their daughter Margaret in New Zealand on 16th November 1895, the age of which gives us her birth around 1818 in Leitrim to parents Irwin and Margery VAUGH.
