NOBLE-Oct. 28th, 1878, at her residence near Caldwell in the 75th year of her age, Mrs. Rebecca Noble, wife of John Noble.
The deceased resided in the vicinity of Caldwell since a child of six years old, and as one of the earliest inhabitants in this section of the country. At the time of her death she had been married and lived with her husband on a farm a mile north of this place for fifty-three years.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Noble leaves two children, a son and daughter, and a wide circle of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. The deceased possessed a mild, gentle disposition, and during her last illness was calm and resigned, expressing no regrets for the past or wishes to live longer, fully believing that a well-spent life had fitted her for the enjoyment of a happy existence in the future.
