Biography
Helen was born in New York in 1828 to Alva Calkins and Anna (Unknown) Calkins. She married Michael Rupe on 25 May 1847 in Kosciusko, Indiana.[1] She and Michael had a family, including:[2]
Levi Rupe (1849–1903)
Eli Rupe (1850–1917)
Joshua S Rupe (1853–1864)
Justiany Rupe (1855–Deceased)
Cornelia E. Rupe (1857–1897)
Their daughter Cornelia was born on 1 Jun 1857 and Hellen died just over four weeks later on 3 Jul 1857. She is buried in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Clay Township, Kosciusko Co., Indiana.[3]
