Biography

David was born about 1835. He was the son of Chester Calkins and Ardilla Stillman. He passed away about 1900.

CALKINS D. N. with Ellinwood & Scranton, Bruce Street; born March 18, 1835, in Arcade, N. Y.; came to Rochelle in 1860; married Ruby Swartout; she was born Nov. 7, 1839; have two children: Ardella S., born Oct. 12, 1863; Willis M., born Aug. 11, 1872.

Calkins-4408 and Calkins-4040 appear to represent the same person because: Dates, spouses and children seem to match. Spouse and children will also need to be merged, if they are the same.
