Randall was born in Willsboro N.Y., on 8 May 1912, the son of Gardner Calkins[1] and Sarah Allen. His wife was Grace MacAuliffe, and he left two sons, Thomas of Pittsburg, and Randall J.
Randall was a carpenter and a great horseman, who passed away in October 1975.[2][3]
