Robert has a rich ancestry that goes back the Mayflower. He came to Chicago with his brother George from Richland, NY in the early 1880s to go into the house painting business after the Great Chicago Fire. He Married Elizabeth Smith and about 1905 both came to Tower City ND.
Robert and Mary Neckel married 30 May 1884 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.[1]
Robert and Elizabeth Smith married in 1900 in Chicago, Illinois. Robert was 43 and Elizabeth was 35.[2]
Robert was almost 60 when he died in Tower City, Cass County, North Dakota.[3]
