Biography
James was born in 1799. He was the son of Micajah Callaway and Mary Arnold. James was born in the Louisiana Territory (now Missouri, near St. Charles) while it was still controlled by Spain.
James married (first) Frankie Davis, 1818 in Washington County, Indiana. They were divorced 24 Apr 1829 in Salem, Washington County, Indiana.
James married (second) Achsah Matilda Henderson, 4 Sep 1842 in Edwards County, Illinois.
James passed away in 1885, and was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Vincennes, Knox County, Indiana, in Plot: GL554.[1]
