Biography

When Martha Mamie Calloway was born in 1886, in Obids, North Carolina, her father, James, was 23, and her mother, Sidney, was 22. She married Jesse Franklin Walker on July 11, 1907, in Abingdon, Virginia. She died on July 10, 1958, in Lakin, Kansas, at the age of 71, and was buried there.
