Unknown Cambrai was a member of the aristocracy in Europe.

Biography

In a number of secondary sources^[1];^[2] Unknown de Cambrai, is the daughter of Raoul of Flanders, Comte de Cambrai, and the wife of Isaac, Comte de Cambrai. Presumably this is to explain the transmission of Cambrai from Raoul to Isaac.^[3] but there appear to be no early sources that confirm these relationships.

If she is the daughter of Raoul, then she was possibly born about 895, as he was killed in battle on 27 June 896.^[4]

If she is the wife of Isaac, Comte de Cambrai, then she is possibly the mother of;

1. Unnamed daughter, married Amaury, a Count in Hainaut (ancestors of the Montfort l'Amaury family);
2. Arnoul I de Cambrai^[3]
