Julius is the son of Johannan Cameron and Ida Patterson.
He was named after his father, Dr. J.S. Cameron. There remains some conflict as to what his middle name actually was, Samuel or Smith (as indicated on the funeral program). His death certificate indicates "S." further leaving the matter unresolved at this point.
Julius grew up in San Antonio.
He went to and graduated from San Antonio public schools. Please note: the recently discovered funeral program (12/6/14) gives more detailed history of his education and working career.
Julius first obtained his registration as a Pharmacist in 1914 and he worked in various pharmacies after that. One of them was located at 503 1/2 Commerce St. in San Antonio--People's Pharmacy.

It was September 20, 1962 when Julius passed away from Atheroscloratic Heart Disease and Diabetes Mellitus. He was buried September 22, 1962 in San Antonio at Eastview Cemetery.
6/25/16 -- We just discovered a birthdate discrepancy between the death certificate (5/31/1900) and headstone (5/31/1897).
7/23/17 -- We discovered a middle name discrepancy between Samuel or Smith (per the headstone).
His aunt Mrs. V. Nelson Inman and a niece named Marjorie Cameron Hawkins survived him.
