John CAMERON was born about 1847 in Rosskean, Ross-shire, Scotland, son of John CAMERON and Elizabeth (McCRAE) CAMERON.^[1][2]

He married Annie FORTUNE on 11 November 1870 at Trinity Church, Ayr, Ayrshire, Scotland. He was living at Littlemill, Ochiltree, Ayrshire, Scotland.^[2] They had 3 children.
