an alternative theory given in some family trees is that she was the Margaret Cameron born to Mary Fraser and Simon Cameron on 24 Apr 1791, in Kiltarlity. All three surnames of Cameron, McLean, Fraser and particularly McLeod appear frequently in genetic matches among descendants so either theory is possible.
