Biography

James Sevier Cameron was born 12 Feb 1846 in Burlington, Des Moines County, Iowa United States. (His parents were born in Scotland).

He was the husband of Isadore Francis (Watson) Cameron, married in Sarpy County. Nebraska. Came to Omaha in March in 1869.

Father of Anna Mable (Cameron) Henry, Elizabeth Frances (Cameron) Trimble, Selena Maude Cameron and Robert Roy Cameron.

James was the superintendent of the County Poor Farm and also ran a livery business for two years. In 1879 he became manager of New American Sewing Machine Company for the state of Nebraska.

James S. Cameron passed away 12 Sep 1911 in Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska USA.
