Velma Elaine Cameron was born 1 March 1909 in McLean, Saskatchewan.[1] She was the daughter of George Cameron and Nellie Franks. She grew up near McLean. Velma married Stanley Milton Ingham on 21 March 1938. They helped his father farm at Lanigan for the first few years of their marriage. Then they farmed at Guernsey until 1944 when they moved to Balcarres, Saskatchewan. They grew registered grain until Stanley died in 1959.
Velma's second marriage was to Reginald Wass on 20 February 1971 in Balcarres.[2] They lived in Regina where Reginald worked as the Regina City manager. Velma passed away on 13 December 1982 in Regina and was buried in Regina Memorial Gardens.[3]

1916 Canada Census - Velma Cameron age 7, born Saskatchewan; lived in the Big Quill area, Humboldt district, Saskatchewan. In Velma's household were her parents: George Cameron age 34 and nellie (Franks) age 34.
