Christopher Cammack was born on 4 December 1767 and baptised on 13 January 1768 at the parish church of St Mary and St Nicholas in Spalding, Lincolnshire. His parents were Thomas and Elizabeth Cammack [1]
Thomas was a tailor [2] and would have served a 7 year apprenticeship and several years as a Journeyman.
Christopher and his family emigrated to Philadelphia in Pennsylvania, United States in 1817 on the Ship "Thomas". They travelled as Steerage passengers with ten packages of apparel and bedding. On the boat were: [2]
