Biography

When Richard Henry "Dick" Cammack was born on August 29, 1849, in Ashley, Illinois, his father, George Warner Cammack, was 32 and his mother, Amanda L Fortson (1820-1861), was 29. He married Martha Viola Gates in 1842 in Texas. They had five children during their marriage. He died on November 10, 1941, in Blanco, Texas, at the age of 92.
