William Campbell was born about 1700 in Ireland and was the son of Grissel Grace (Hay) and John Duncan Campbell, Sr.
About 1740 he emigrated to North America.
He passed away on 05 Oct 1754 in Augusta, Orange County, Virginia.

Campbell-13823 and Campbell-10548 do not represent the same person because: Campbell 13823 was born 4 years before the mother Grisel Hay Campbell. There is another William Campbell listed as her son, born in 1700.
