Biography

Ruth Campbell was born on Dec. 9, 1843 to Abel Campbell and Jane A. Taylor.^[1]

She married Dr. Emanuel R. Leas on Apr. 18, 1861 in De Kalb County, Indiana.

Children:

1. Baby daughter, born Apr. 4, 1862, died Apr. 13, 1862
2. Alvin Edward (1863-1921)
3. Ella May (1865-1936)
4. William C. (1867-1876)

Ruth Leas died at the age of 88 years, 9 months and 20 days in Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.^[2] She is buried at the Circle Hill Cemetery in Angola, Indiana.^[3]
