Biography

He was Presbyterian, a member of the Bakers Creek Church in TN.

He moved to Illinois about 1820 with his sons Alexander and James, and daughters Margaret Ann McTeer and Nancy Caroline.

Howard Pearson, the 2nd great-grandson of William Campbell and Margaret Sloan, has a relationship confirmed with an AncestryDNA test match triangulation between his 3rd cousin 2x removed K. Southwell, who is the 4th great-granddaughter of William Campbell and Margaret Sloan; and M. J. Foster, the 3rd great-granddaughter of William Campbell and Margaret Sloan. M. J. Foster is Howard’s 3rd cousin 1x removed.
