My husbands family are Rutherfords, James R. Rutherford is as far back as I have been able to go, he was born in Jedborough Scotland on July 20 1749 and emmigrated to Nova Scotia Canada, he was married to Esther Scott, Elzabeth Johnson and Letita Putman. his son John Brown Rutherford born in 1798 in Stewiackle Nova Scotia would be the next step in the family tree. I am looking for help to find James R Rutherford's family in Jedborough?
