Notes
Note N00502Per Al Lee:
"The first sight of Catherine was on the 1860 census, at the residence of Daniel Campbell and his family in New Orleans.. At this time it was not known who she was.
In Jan 2011 Kevin Doyle contacted me, he had a photograph of John and Bridget's gravestone, that came from his gg grandmother's Catherine Campbell relics. She also had another photo of a stone in Nevada, more than likely Daniels. I feel this ties her to the five known brothers as a sister.
Per Kevin Doyle, Catherine Campbell Caffrey was his g grandmother. He found me from an old query I had put on the Internet.
I had found a Catherine Campbell on the 1860 census in the house of Daniel Campbell and family, living in New Orleans, however at the time did not know who she was.
1870 census, found Catherine Caffrey, age 42, wife of Andrew, age 56, both born in Ireland, son James B, . born in Illinois, Hamilton Co., Ill.
1880 census, found Kate Caffrey, age 56, wife of Andrew, age 65, both born in Ireland, one son, James age 11. Hamilton Co., Ill. Also listed was an Agnes Fox, age 8, adopted, born in Illinois as were both parents.
1900 census, I did find Andrew Caffery, age 86, listed in house of son, James Caffrey and wife, Hamilton County Illinois, but no Catherine, assumed she had died."
