She is noticed in Ferguson's work[1] in the Marriage Register of the Scots Brigade when she appears in a contract of marriage, 30 November 1747, at Den Bommel, South Holland, Netherlands, between Alexander MacLeod, stated to be a soldier of Captain (James) Grahame's Company, and herself, stated to be the widow of an unnamed MacLeod, a soldier in Major Donald Mackay's Company. It seems likely the two MacLeods were related. The witnesses to the contract were James Gun, soldier of Captain Grahame's Company and John Campbell, soldier of Major Mackay's Company. They were married on 26 December 1747.
