Biography

Mary Ellen Campbell was born June 21, 1856 in Croyden, Lennox County, Canada West to James Campbell and Eleanor McDowell.

Mary Ellen Campbell was married April 22, 1875 to James McKeown at Centreville, Camden Township, Ontario. She was 18 years old; he was 25 years old.^[1]

Mary Ellen McKeown died of gangrene due to artero sclerosis on January 17, 1944 at Centreville, Ontario. She was 87 years old. Her grandson, Arthur McKeown was the informant. Mary Ellen was buried January 19, 1944.^[2]
