Sarah Elizabeth “Sally” Campbell was a daughter of Andrew Campbell and Mary Massie Wiggins. On November 29, 1838, in Haywood county, North Carolina, Sarah married Moses Loftin Sherrill. "Sallie Campbell Sherrill is shown living in Charleston, Swain CO, NC in the 1900 census with her son, William Sherrill and her daughter, Sarah Sherrill Fairbanks."

Her daughter, Nancy is born in 1840 and her Family Search page indicates that Sarah was born in 1824. It appears that her year of birth is a "date guess."
