Biography
Levincy Jane Campbell and Robert J Whitehurst were married on 30 June 1853 by David B Turner, Justice of the Peace, in Hillsborough County, Florida, United States of America.[1] It is likely that this was Robert's second marriage based on the 1860 Census record for the family:
Levincy was enumerated as being born about 1836 in Florida on the 1860 through 1880 censuses. She and Robert were living in the part of Hillsborough County, Florida, that became Pinellas County in 1912.
She may have died in 1884. There is a grave marker at the Anona Pioneer Cemetery in Largo, Pinellas County, Florida, for Mrs. L J Whitehurst 1836-1884.[2] Robert is identified as widowed in the 1885 Florida Census and on his 1916 death certificate.[3]
