To fix the error of her birth and mother's death I changed the 1548 death year to 1546 (about/ucertain). There are a lot of books and sources that Margaret is the daughter of Archibald IVth and 2nd wife Lady Margaret Graham but no birth date has been made public. I followed your sources and read everything (that didn't require paid subscription) but found the same information I had:

* parents were married April 21, 1541 at Priory of Inchmahome * Marg. was born 2nd and married James Stewart Jan 10, 1563 and she died February 1571/72 due to complications from injuries sustained in a fire. * Archibald, her father, married a third time (contractually) on 12 March 1546 * He was away "commanding a group of Highlanders" at Battle from 1547 through 1548 in the Seige of Hamilton. * I think her mother could have died from complications during/after childbirth since there were three children born in less than 5 years and the contractual 3rd marriage was so fast. No accounts attribute daughter Margaret to the third wife but if so, 1548 would still have been difficult since he was in England for most if not the entire year.

  • Honestly there were at least 2 illegitimate children of Archibald IV and with multiple politically motivated murders/executions in both of these families the lack of birth dates and baptismal records could be intentional (?)

Parent died before birth of this profile....
Margaret Graham's profile (her mother) states that Margaret died in 1546. Yet you have her daughter Margaret being born in 1548.
In Biography, she passed away in 1572. In the top section, she died after 1592. I'm trying to straighten out group files on GENI & in my TribalPages.
