Sarah Eve Campbell was born in 1820 in Iredell County, North Carolina, USA. Her parents were Perciphull Pierce Campbell, Jr. and Tabitha Morgan. She married Captain Uriah J. Douthit in 1839 in North Carolina. Sarah and Uriah had the following children:

Columbus C. Douthit
Mary and Columbus were living with their grandfather, Perciphull Campbell, Jr. in the 1860 Census. Sarah died in 1849 in Surry County, North Carolina. Her burial location is unknown.
